UK Gambling Commission updates guidelines on fair terms and practices – European Gaming Industry News
Innovative game development studio Evoplay has further established its credentials by obtaining its ISO 27001 certification for its security management systems.
Crucial to kick-starting and building its presence in various global regulated jurisdictions, Evoplay’s internal processes have been meticulously tested against the standard’s strict assessment criteria, ensuring it meets all requirements over an extended period of time.
Valid for three years, the certification demonstrates the studio’s ability to protect sensitive data at the highest level, giving partners confidence that Evoplay provides maximum protection against cybersecurity threats.
In total, the standard’s strict assessment criteria ensure that Evoplay has met 114 checks and 7 required clauses over a nine-month period. The certification also confirms that Evoplay employees are properly trained and capable of maintaining the standards set by the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electrotechnical Commission.
Commenting on the certification, Vladimir Malakchi, CCO at Evoplay, said: “The integrity of our customers’ data is of the utmost importance to us, and by receiving this certification, we demonstrate the level of excellence that we strive to maintain in all of our products.
“This is a further admission of how we do things at Evoplay and demonstrates the ambition we have in terms of expanding into regulated markets, particularly in terms of reach in Bulgaria and Switzerland.”
Evoplay continues to strengthen itself in several European and Latin American markets as one of the most forward-thinking game producers in the industry. The studio won a host of industry awards and accolades in 2021, and saw its CEO, Ivan Kravchuk, awarded SBC’s 2021 Leader of the Year.
