Joshua Beal is running for re-election to the Montgomery County Commission, District 14

CLARKSVILLE, TN (NOW CLARKSVILLE) – Joshua Beal has announced that he is running for re-election to the Montgomery County Commission in District 14.

Beal graduated with honors from Kenwood High School, holds an Associate of Commerce degree, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, and earned the Certified Public Administrator designation from the Institute of Public Service. public at the University of Tennessee. He is also a graduate of Leadership CMCSS and Leadership Clarksville.

Beal serves on the Montgomery County Staff Advisory Committee, the EMS Committee, as Chairman of the Beer Board, and as Vice Chairman of the Clarksville-Montgomery County Community Action Agency. He has also served on the Prisons and Juveniles Committee, the School Board Liaison Committee, and the Purchasing Committee.

Outside of county government, Beal is Vice President of Clarksville Citizens Police Academy, Advisory Board Member of For All Tennessee, Co-Chair of the Law & Government Committee of Youth Leadership Clarksville, Budget and Allocations Committee Member of United Way of the Greater Clarksville Region, Board of Directors. member of the Mt. Olive Cemetery Historical Preservation Society and volunteer mentor for TN Achieves. He has also served as President and Treasurer of Clarksville-Montgomery County Crime Stoppers, Associate Member of FOP Two Rivers Lodge, Montgomery County Historical Society, and Clarksville Young Professionals.

Beal said he is committed to building a new animal control facility, creating a juvenile justice center, building a secondary library in North Clarksville, and working with the school board to address overcapacity in our schools.

Its main priorities will be to continue advocating for government transparency, accountability and accountability; prioritize citizens of Montgomery County; and encourage citizen participation in all aspects of local government.

District 14 covers St. Bethlehem from the Red River to Interstate 24, as well as portions of Needmore and Trenton Road.
